Homemade Herbal Oil
Mediterranean herbs such as thyme, rosemary and sage are very suitable for making Foodiletto's Italian olive oil even more flavoursome. If you like garlic, you can also add a clove of garlic to the bottle.

Preparation
Wash the fresh herbs and let them dry for at least 24 hours. It is important that the herbs are dried to prevent any mold from forming. Crush the herbs gently, for example with the flat side of a knife or in a mortar. Then put the herbs in a bottle, pour the olive oil over it and close with a cap or cork. Put the oilone to two weeks in a cool, dark place to allow the flavor to soak in. Taste to see if the oil has already acquired enough flavor and let it stand longer if necessary.
